Since being established in 2019, Best Hostel and Aananda Garden Restaurant is a family-run quiet, quaint hostel with common guest areas and a full-service restaurant. Just a 15 minute walk to the bustling, popular tourist area of Thamel, we offer a quieter, relaxed location beset from the busy main roads. We are eager to share with you the spirit of Nepal in the heart of Kathmandu through our loving, laid back approach. Our family-run hotel motto is, “arrive as a guest, leave as family!”  Our team consists of three cousin-brothers who are happy to help facilitate all of your Nepal travel wishes. If you’d like, we have trekking organizers who meet with guests to curate adventures and answer all of your questions.  We also offer airport pickup and try our very best to meet any other requests of our guests. Our relaxing tea garden offers tables nestled among shade trees with free wifi for meals or simply to relax. Adjacent, we have comfortable indoor common areas for dining breakfast, lunch and dinner. Local Nepali cuisine and international food is available at our restaurant as well as tea, coffee, beer and more.
